Mmk so im just really confused how theres about 50% of the plots that are the regular size, but new players cant get one, I dont think thats that smart, because there isnt THAT many players on, so the regular plots will rarely be claimed anymore, because it takes a while to fill a whole plot with quality, I've also noticed that many of the regular plots are very nice, with mountains and some even have a bit of land :eek: Just an idea I think that new players should be able to get the regular sized square plots, and if they never use it again, you can just clear it and give it to someone new.

They aren't necessarily restricted. You provided no in depth plans of what you were going to do with the plot, just the generic "Some houses and maybe some mining". Our experience from seeing this over the years is that the player then builds a few things and then leaves the server, hence we like to see plans of what you plan to do with the larger claims before handing them out. A good example of your builds comes from smaller plots where you've used the space efficiently and made decent builds.

The clearing process for claims isn't exactly an easy process and most of the time it required manually removing terrible builds from the plot and cleaning up before it's able to be claimed by someone else. If you don't know what you're building and just say houses then why would you need a big claim.

The plot numbers are as follows:
Small - 416
Rectangular - 832
Large - 416
Jumbo - 96
 
Ok, I understand this. I was mostly just a bit frustrated because I couldn't find a claim that interested me in arid, and I was just a bit annoyed in general. Sorry for the trouble. Also I like the idea to judge if a player could get another plot off of quality builds, again sorry for the trouble and thanks for taking the time to write a reply, :P
