when did you buy minecraft

alpha or beta?

When Minecraft was in alpha, wasn't it free? Regardless, I purchased it in late December of '10, just after beta started (a few days). I had played in alpha before though...

you must be talkin about classic mode which was free, but survival was ~$15 then beta it went up to ~$20
 
Bought it in alpha...about a week after seananners made his first minecraft video. :)

Ah yes. I stand corrected. SMP came out during alpha when playing creative (Classic). Urm... I need to change my vote since I did purchase during alpha. xD
 
I don't remember when, but I bought it when it was in beta 1.2. Maybe sometime in January?
 
woops, i clicked beta without thinking. i bought in alpha, about 2 days before beta was anounced
 
somewhere in November... ms fluffys was bought early December because of the lifetime updates deal.

so yea alpha
 
Hmm let me check my email for the receipt, September 21st of last year. Started on the server on October 19th.
 
long time ago in alpha at november from SINTERKLAAS that the dutch not fat santa clause that haz a horse that walks on roofs and haves like unknown prob 5000 slaves dressed in fancy clotling and he really excisted and is a holy man for catholics :P xD
 
Got it in alpha, then started playing multiplayer once it had gone beta
 
alpha had a free weekend. when notch could not make every one connect he extended that free weekend to a week lots of people got on because of it and then it wasent free any more so you had to pay for it to get it. it was a greifers heaven and a admins nightmare
