    Maybe not have a world map for survival?

    I think survival would be better without a world map because in the outlands, most people's houses got destroyed instantly if it was visible on the world map. At least it gives people a chance to keep their houses longer if we all dont have a satellite view of it. Just my opinion!

    Does this usually happen in minecraft?

    ... This cave was not explored before, it is like 5 blocks away from the map border (not region border) it is 1.7.3 land. This is at level 10 (right close to bedrock) two roses, the cave was pitch black before i torched it up. Its just kinda odd to see. Is this something that can happen?
