Any special projects going on for the 1 year anniversary of Minecraft Addicts? If not, I think we should do something.

MrJangles joined the forums on 9/23. So (im guessing) thats when the forums started. The server should be too far before that date.

What if we did some sort of victory arc signifing one year of the server?
 
September 23, 2010.

I started the server with the website on the same day. I can't get logs from my mediatemple server where it began because I don't have it anymore. 99% it's september 23 so we'll go with that.

That was the fastest year ever...

Just to think and look at how fast the community has grown.
 
New members everyday... :D

Anyway, I think we should build something BIG. Or just a giant "1" out of gold and diamond. We could change the number every year. Next year it'd be a 2, etc.

Just in case college consumes me (I start classes tomorrow), happy birthday best minecraft server ever!
 
This is a concept design I came up with for an arch. It would go near spawn and the interstate would go through it.

This is just the basic design. It would be alot more decrotive in the final version.

Though an arch idea is clean and simple, I don't know if it really shouts "I YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!"
