Alaskan Adventures: The Grease Car

So Jenna didnt believe that I built a truck that runs off of vegtable oil, so Here is the proof.

I found this truck in a junkyard without a motor or tranny, so I bought an older truck of the same make and replaced the motor.

The Project Truck: 1990 Red Isuzu Spacecab. Original motor was a V6 gasoline.

The Donor Truck: A 1986 Isuzu P'up (Pick Up) With a 2.2 4cylinder Diesel Motor.

Let the games begin!

After bringing the spacecab back from the junkyard

The Donor Truck after I robbed the Motor

Fixing It up, Using new doors, hood, and other interior components to from scrap yards. Also, much bondo.

Priming and Painting

Restoring Interior, New Door panels, seats, steering column, windows, carpet, Stereo, and subs.

Grease Tank in a box in the truck bed

Switches in the cab that control the grease valves

Full Motor shot with grease lines covered in insulation to protect from the Alaskan coldness

nicely done!!! u can hardly tell its the same truck. Nice kayak's too. i need a lil truck like this for getting me around in the country and taking my canoe/kayak to the river.. this is what i am using now. lol
