Can't log in all of a sudden

I went afk (just by saying brb, i can't use /afk for some reason) to post a land claim earlier, and came back to Minecraft to find a "Timed out" error. I guessed that I was afk too long and it auto-kicked me. I went to log back in and it said "Bad Login" when I clicked "Connect". I restarted the client, thinking that maybe I got disconnected from minecraft.net alltogether. I re-launched it, clicked Multiplayer, clicked Connect, and...same thing. "Bad Login". What is going on here? Did I get banned?
 
Ok this is closed now. Turns out the server was down for 2 minutes :p. Silly me.
