chess challenge

i am starting a challenge. i want the people of mca if interested to build chess pieces. i just want one of every piece to be built some where on your own plot and i will judge them. the specifications are that 1. they fit into at most a 10 x 10 area. and 2. that they are black or white wool. the prize at the moment is uncertain but it wi probably be at least 1000 caps

actually the piece can be built out of whatever block you have available. im mainly looking for design as i am screen shotting them and using them on my chess board

This sounds interesting to me, do we have an allocated area for each contestant in order to have a gallery of sorts to judge them all in a line. Or are we doing them within our own area and screenshotting?

the chess board is now complete. i am currently waiting for any builds

You know, if you had some money, you could make the minecraft chess board using one of those 3D printing companies like FigurePrints ( http://www.figureprints.com/minecraft/Default.aspx )

And then, when the chess pieces are made, make a flat base for them at the bottom, and BAM, you have your very own Minecraft themed chess board in real life!!
