Is it just me or has the server descended into civil war after factions were added?

hahaha just a little. everyone against team awesome it seems.
From just being around it for a bit as a spectator, it's pretty mental.
I've noticed though that alot of people can't recognize their team mates and they often are caught off guard by a charging enemy (due to the whole confusion).
Perhaps certain factions should wear their armour a certain way like have all diamond and wear an iron helmet or all iron and a diamond helmet. I realize that would cause a team to have weaker armour but those examples aren't necessarily what a faction has to do.
I just think it would be better to be able to identify friend or foe from a distance rather than have to guess about it and waste a potion or arrows or even not attack and then that person gets the first strike.
Even certain skins would work! (ones where the faces are easily differentiated)
Just an idea.
If I had a faction, I'd edit every players skin and manage ranks and stuff. Cool idea. I wonder if I can put a faction tag in the name above the player. Looking into it.
I have yet to see this happen... Factions arent that big, its not that hard to remember who is on your team. What battle were you talking about link?
