I was on the build map when i saw this odd landmass a long ways away.

Just wondering... Why is that there?

That appears to be a teleport screw up :P
Generated the chunk then pushed them back to the border.

There are a few on the historic map.
 
oh more than a few on the map. when staff are investigating things and we tp to an exact location if we accidentally add a extra number that kind of landmass forms before we get pushed to the border...

yea... sorry. most times people triple check their numbers but sometimes they miss it and that happens. were only human.
 
Must have been wired.... Teleporting, ending up in some ocean... The reaction must have been priceless.
 
no were usually like wtf oh crap. then it gives us the reached the border and were then thinking well.. time to get yen to fix the map again.
 
Haha actually that generated bit of land worked out quite well for us, it increased the scaling used by the map and fixed the but with being unable to click some landclaims in the Patches region. A little bit of serendipity indeed :)
