Could someone film a flyover of my property please?

Hi,

I am building the Chinese Forbidden City. It will be basically a 5 claim sized construction, or a 346,920 square city.

Is it possible for someone to fly over my claims and film it, as a prelude to construction? I would like some progress flyovers to show the progress please.

Some still shots would be excellent too please.

The plots are in Rivers, lower left corner

Would have to be the operators due to them being able to change the /gamemode in other worlds...

MrJangles, tiggerxplur, and lofp will most likely be good candidates.
 
If a flyby is not possible, then you could re-texture a mine cart and rails plus a block to invisible and ride yourself across your land but good luck finding your cart.

or he could, you know, turn the texture pack off after =P

i'm not sure if the ops will go for it, but it cant hurt to ask them for a flyover.
 
build a road with materials you dont use. in photoshop clear that block texture. the walk over ti looking down. thats how it works for me. i get no special privaliges when filming. i need to do it the old fashoned way.
 
Seriously??? Ugggh, there has to be another way, this property is HUGE!
 
creative mode is unavailable to all even staff on all worlds except the creative world.
 
they have other mod commands in case they need to check griefings.
It's just simple teleport commands.
 
Jeff, Just get a texture pack in which the terrain.png has nothing for glass. Make a rail thing going over your land and ride to get a good view.
 
Operators have different commands then every one else.

I personally don't do filming.

The only situation that we are aloud to use these commands is for griefs or moving large community projects that are in the service to the community IE: spawns for each world.

No other member has access to this not admins or mods.

And we are not aloud to use it in any way in build or historic.

This is one of the reasons why I haven't worked on my projects and haven't been playing in pvp.

To many idiots would just think I'm cheating.

as for the original post as you can see we will not be able to fly over it for you. but I think a great idea would be to take stills and then animate them being build like a 360 moving shot as you build

1 shot at the 90 then another at 40 and so on. have pws every time you reach a nice spot in your build then take a pic. and then put all the together and it will look like your moving around the build as it grows in front of you.

its a better effect then a before and after. cause the before will look like just any other land in minecraft.

If it's for staff purposes (investigation of griefing for example) they can use /top or /jump (or /j it's alias) Theres quite a few admin commands that are useful and don't require flying when checking out a report.
