CPU sound got worse...

I don't know if anyone remembers me saying my CPU fan was making a funny sound. It wasn't that bad but it got worse last night. I unlatched the fan and pulled it off, ripping the CPU from the socket because it was welded(as in very stuck) to the fan's heatsink. It didn't damage the socket.

I managed to get it off with force and bent a few pins in the process. Pins are back in place but I went out and got a new CPU anyway, 6 cores this time, and some more ram, 8gb total, holy shit batman. Back in business.

yah I would say dry thermal... but who knows.. maybe have a temp indicator unless you already have one if it was really welded... cause for that to happen it would have to be really hot. but nice to hear you got a nice new CPU! and nice pic btw ;) hehe
 
ya no weld, dry thermal. lol. took a heck load of force to get off =\. yay new cpu! lol

one handed picture, not bad! CPU's are cool ...
