Hello Fellow Addicts!

Title: The Addicts Hotel

Location:
- At the corner of the Oasis portal (after you warp into build)
- S1 E22
- X = 3200; Z = 200

When: This project was started in the first quarter of 2012. I fell away from MCA during the summer and now am back for good! I began construction on it again this week. Estimated completion time is March of 2013.

Who: Just myself. I have had a few other people join me so far. Honorable mentions so far are Kking12 and JellyBelly1212.

Stages of Production:

Stage One:
- Outline base and building - DONE
- Construct base - DONE
- Build exterior structure - DONE
- Construct shield banner - DONE
- Create floor structure and stairwell to top - DONE
- Add windows and dividers - DONE

Here is what I have so far:

Stage Two:
- Add landscaping to the outside
- Create separate rooms, hallways, doors, and lighting to all floors
- Figure out what I want to do with the lobby area and build it
- Construct the VIP pool on the roof of the building

Stage Three:
- Add furniture to all of the rooms
- Beds, chests, lights, rugs, pictures and more

Stage Four:
- User reviews
- Final touches
- "Contributor board" for helping me and my endeavors

Stage Five:
- Start renting the rooms out! (No, I will not actually charge)
- Party!

Week Three

17-21 December 2012

Yo! I'm back with another weekly update of my hotel.
I haven't done much with it because of finals at college and now the holidays.

MCA updated the online "Build" map. Now this gives you an idea of the landscaping I've been doing to the place

I've also started working on the VIP pool on the top floor.

Week Seven

14 - 18 January 2013

I have another update for everyone. I've been doing a lot of random stuff lately on the server, but I have managed to add to the hotel. Here are some photos. Enjoy!

Here is the pool with water added and a makeshift diving board. I don't know if I like it yet, but for right now it'll work just fine.

Here is the main stair case leading up to the first floor. Added some nice flowers and such.

This view is looking down the main stair case from the first floor. You can see my wall design of wood and slab.

This is what the outside of the rooms look like. It was interesting working with slabs.

Inside of the first room. KKing1 helped me with the lights. Torch + Item Holder + Trap Door

I finally got fed up with not having enough of chests to store my cobblestone and sand. This is the basement of the hotel. My goal is to dig out a large room just for the purpose of building objects for contests and such.
