Forum thread alerts

I find it really annoying when I miss out on information, and I like staying updated.
On the forums, can I ask that, once someone has a bit of free time, of wants to tackle this, possibly make it to where you can see if your thread you posted gets a reply, or a thread commented on by you is followed, and when a person replies to that thread you follow, you also get an alert? SUPER annoying not knowing if someone's replied or not.

I'm pretty sure the forums are a template nad can't be edited for this sorta thing. Not totally sure though.

(I only say this because I have seen a very similar looking forum for another server)

Well, someone has to go in and actually MAKE the template, so hypothetically, you should be able to find a way to add/delete/change it.

It's completely possible.

How would you like to receive updates though?
Emailing updates could potentially overload the mail server (I have all costs for that currently) unless we pay a fortune for a business class mail server and load balancer. The other option is via PM which would require you to check the forum anyway.

I'm sure you can check in on your threads at least once daily to see if there are any replies.

Up where it says "Notifications," have the site say something like "So and so replied to your thread [thread title here with hyperlink]"
or "So and so replied to the thread [thread title here with hyperlink]
Yes, looking is possible, but having notifications are so much more useful.

New Post at the top works for me, then you never miss anything. Ones with an arrow on the gold block are threads you have posted in.

New Posts is a great tool to use, I think you should try that
