what the hack has happened here? usually when an update is out the forums even when we are behind is buzzing with activity... where have all the builders gone?

like really you cant wait for 1.8-1.9 you have to play it now or never? see this is why i have an issue with notches updating of minecraft its never released to developers or when he does release something... well something else starts up something different a week later...

oi yoi.... slightly disappointing in the lack of our community but at the same time its ok.

I've just been taking the time to go through and clear out a few more open claims but now i'm pretty much just playing battlefield 3.

Good work with the new site though, its looking amazing!

Doom and gloom? Not on the best minecraft server there isn't! Really liking the look of the new site design dude and are those custom, minecraft-esque buttons I see! Pictures of the sides look sick too, can't wait to see the finished article

Yup, I'm still here. Nope, I'm not going away any time soon. It's my first month into the new job. It's not going to settle down but in 1 more month I'll be settled down. It's not like I'm not around, I just have no drive to get into the major updates that need to be done right now. With that said, we may be waiting until release before server updates are made, but I'll see what I can do.

Static is just as busy because of his new job too. It's just really crappy timing but it's not going to last forever. Once I settle down and get in routine, I'll be right back.
 
I think pistons being disabled may be keeping some people away too. I've been playing around with pistons a lot in single player. I know there's nothing that can be done about that though because of the dupe bug.
 
I really wanna be active in game more, but i don't really know what to build anymore... Maybe gimme an idea? Also, i read most posts on the forums (non-landclaims of course) but i don't really take the time to reply to them. Maybe i should do that more? I don't know, but i do know that this is THE BEST MINECRAFT SERVER all times and that i will never forget this server! Fellow minecraft addicts, maybe the time has come to start doing more community projects, maybe the time has come to make and do more challenges (like vechs Race's For Wool!) The time has come to stand up and pump this awesome minecraft server up to the maximum amount of players online possible! I hope we can realise this one day, and that we can play as some happy addicted minecrafters! PEACE
 
No that's not a minecraft button. Its a minecraft ventrilo status and whose online widget I just added.
 
I still come on here almost every day, it's just that I've moved into the attic and the internet sucks and I generally don't have time.

That, and I went to a minecraft LAN-party thing, with a building contest with 3 friends. We won second place and got 2 "One More Block" shirts, of which one is now basically in my possession. :)
 
Well i'm on everyday. There is still plenty for me to do here. I havn't gone down the pre-release path,( it's mostly single-player stuff anyway). And if your stuck to what to build, there are still plenty of community projects: The Wall, The Roads and (ghost)Donar Town.
 
It's a WIP town for high level server donators in the south-west corner of the world (coffeeplz and DarkRyan100 are leading the project).

I will say this...

This is the best server I have ever found and will never leave it for another one completely. Minecraft Addicts will always be my virtual home and the community is a second family to me...

I will be on the server a lot more due time being freed up.

Dead? To those who don't regularly visit are dead to me... Including me!

I'm really struggling to play on the current machine, let alone the time that's slowly disappearing. But I do plan to continue to be here as this is my second home from home (Sorry UT2k4).

I sort of agree. It hasn't deterred me because I have quite a lot at stake here not to mention the awesome community we have. I defo agree with Commander about the update business messing with things. We could also add the 'tard' nation we have on Internets looking for the new thing when there's something good right infront of them.
