Just throwing this up to share a pic of my current project at work, which has become our second biggest project to date. This pic came out a bit funny, looks a tree is growing on the chimney.

Looks like cold work! what is the body of water? So you do walls as well, for some reason i thought you just did the roof, silly me. i bet it is really beautiful in the summer!

That is Georgian Bay, part of lake Huron. I'll try to get another shot once the first stage of framing is raised tomorrow.

All my childhood, for two weeks every summer, we camped on Lake Huron, East Tawas. I remember the lighthouse there before they moved the State Park to it.

went back yesterday to get the final paycheck, woooooot

the onsite crew were busy starting the walls around the timbers



i still have one more trip to make up there once the place is closed in to make a few small patches etc, so there may be one more pic to come.
