Have any of you ever noticed this?

Now, I have a huge wheat farm, and I never got this before. Certain patches on my farm, I can not plant 2 adjacent squares Now, it's just that spot. Nothing around it. I know it is being hydrated with water.

I plant a seed in one, go to the other one next to it, and the seeds just jump back up to me...

Any ideas on this? It can go from 4 to 6 cubes like so, then it goes back again..

Possibly a light issue?
Try adding more light to the area and try again.

Its just a bug... Happens in my pumkin patch too. The seeds just pop out again.

Light has no effect to it. Those blotches are less than 3 blocks away from a torch.

So, I'd trust in Refine more, that it's just a bug.

Mine have always been fixed by adding a glowstone block just above the area that is causing problems.
Your choice if you don't want to try it....

Weird. If you have like one block of water around the area it may need more water. I usually flood the area with lines of water

Yeah, Alien found out what was wrong. The overhang above it was depriving it of light. While I had a light source around it, I guess it wasn't enough. Opened up the overhang a little and replaced it with glass.
