Land claim question

Hey Guys. I wanted to ask about land claims. You see I made a claim and built on it with a friend but we both have concluded that we need more space. Am I able to claim more land? Or can I abandon my current land and claim a different plot? If so how can I do this? As my friend put a lot of work into my current one I would like him to have it.
 
You can transfer the claim to your friend, with his permission and if he does not have one already. If this is the plan have him start a new claim thread, and you reply confirming the transfer. After that you should be able to make a new claim.
