MrJangles

Notch released SMP health and its running right now on the server as a test. It will continue to be a test until Hey0 and Llamacraft make updated versions of their mods.

The world has been backed up and all inventory saved. The current world is an old version of the world and it will be reverted. All work will not be saved until Hey0 and Llamacraft are supported so we can prevent griefing.

A tip to players once the server gets back on track, store all of your shit immediately and reset your home. Then run around and test the health, I've been having problems with it, and I don't know why. I just die out of nowhere.

And jangles, remember to turn off fire, lava, and pvp. And if possible please turn off falling damage.

I have several theories about why I keep dying, but I'm not sure just yet.

Edit: I found the problem after searching the main site. When you log in, be sure to change the difficulty (via options) to something other than Peaceful. Otherwise, you will not see the mobs, or other people.

all health will be disabled, even when we get the new mods, until we figure out exactly how we can use health on the world and if it's even a benefit to have it at all.

Llamacraft updated but I wont apply it until hey0 updates. Apparently Hey0 (developer of the mod) doesn't have an internet connection right now. The entire SMP community is begging for an update. I'll keep you updated...

Evidently, Minecraft is a source of unimaginable pressure for some otherwise very normal guys. It's fossilizing, even.
