Natural snowmen

Yet another sneak peak of 1.9 that notch has tweeted about. This time it looks like naturally accruing snowmen. Here is
the picture:

According to Notch's Twitter, they are craftable, melt in hot biomes, spread snow by walking around, and "are ridiculously suicidal, throwing snowballs at creepers and spiders, annoying them to attack the snowmen. It's funny. :D"

Sounds interesting !
 
wtf are we gonna do with snowmen? How about adding more useful things like another tool. A sledgehammer to knock out fences and other annoying blocks.

Wow.. that's actually a good idea. It would be so useful! Rather than this .. which seems pointless.
 
I like this, and I will make an army of snowmen to fight the hordes of creepers.

Im going to claim land right outside of yours, and build snowmen as my boarder, so they move around and get snow all over your land :D
