... I use to have this happen to our DOD server. We would eventually get banned from their forums/server whatever because that's first person shooter style, but it's not Minecraft so no hacks or anything like that. We can't copyright our name, we're technically not allowed to use "minecraft" anyway, but I like letting others know we exist.
 
From the looks of it they have less than 10 active members on the forums and their server is currently down.

Can't compare to the REAL Minecraft Addicts!!
 
woh woh guys their last forum post was june 4th and from may.. i think they are dead now.
 
Ah good eye.

The best way to handle these types of guys is to nicely tell them that name is already taken. If they argue, hold your ground, nothing silly.
 
i know its a 1.5 white listing server too.. maybe just a few friends is my best guess. they use an ip instead of an actual domain too.
 
Should you really worry about something with ".freeforums.org" behind its name?
Could be coincidence too :D You think they know this server?
