Out of control ignore list

After it seemed that several players were talking to themselves for hours, I checked my ignore list to discover there was 30+ people on it! At the most I only remember ignoring five or six players (and I think a few have been thumped with the ban hammer) Have anyone else had this problem?

It could be that it just caught you by surprise. Some of the stats do that when you look at them for the first time in a while. We can look into it though.
