Hey there guys. I wanted to talk about the fact where we loose power for inactivity. I don't like that because some of us actually have lives. And when we are out there doing stuff with our lives, our base is being raided. I was wondering if we can inactivate that on the factions plugin.:)

This is active to stop the stalemate from the previous factions.
Factions were stacking players that were not active to gain a constant power until they were kicked for inactivity.

You only lose 1 power per day and your personal player power will only decrease to 0 so that you technically aren't in your faction anymore. Your power will never decrease below 0 by this inactivity power loss.

I think it should be like one power per week. At that rate, the really inactive players will lose power while the people who get to their life don't lose much

I'm not sure if they can change the rate. But DO NOT quote me on this as I'm not great with plugins.

Keep the discussion going.
I'm able to play with settings, but there would need to be a large majority of faction owners in favour of the changes.

I'd kinda favor a longer time
instead of per day, how about every 3 days?

Lol when i was looking at the 'Registered' and the last post for suggestions/tech support was power loss due to... and then it had the last player to reply to this post which was kking1. Put this together and it said

'Power loss due to...
Kking1'

I'd like a longer time for power to decrease as well. 3 days to a week would be a lot better.
Remember that those of us who still go to school have exam weeks and things like that, also if we go on holidays and the like, it pretty much screws us over.

I really would dig a 3 day system
I personally just don't have the time to be online every day due to school and having a life :P
And being punished for that is quite harsh
Maybe it is possible to just like, do 1 per day but only let the system kick it in after 3 days?

I would like it to be a week.

On that time scale you'd be kicked from the factions automatically before you lost any amount of power that would hinder the faction.

I'm willing to go with 2 or 3 days. Need to see what more faction owners would like.

I think a week would be better because many of us go on vacation and a week would cause the really inactive players to loose all of their power and get kicked while the people who are just busy don't loose too much power. For example I go on vacation 2 times a year for two weeks I would rather my power be 8 then 3.

Perhaps increase the time it takes to autokick people from factions then? I understand it helps keep factions from growing and growing even if the older members aren't active at all, but the what if you set it up so you lose power once every few days so that a few days after you get to 0 the autokick comes in (not saying you should decrease the autokick time).

The point is that you lose power, otherwise there is no point in even having the system if you want players to lose 1 power every week.
Players that disappear for weeks at a time will lose their power role in the faction, at no point will this ever go below 0 power for that particular player. This means that one the player reaches 0 power they technically aren't giving the faction a power boost, nor are they taking power away from the faction.

If I understand this correctly there is no power related reason to keep the inactivity boot then?

But active faction admins will then have to do like a "roll call" in their faction. When a player has 0 power, the faction admin is the one that should kick them. Not have to rely on the server. Making it a week will make those really inactive members get kicked by either the admin when they have 0 power or the server. If not a week, hows 5 days. I think that might be a little more fair
