Project Cherry (Chernobyl Build)

Well, I guess that I should start a FMB on my beloved Project Cherry.

I've been working on building Chernobyl for a long time (9 months maybe?). It's being built on the biggest plot size available, and it's on water. That means I have to place all the dirt to make the land that Cherry sits on, and that's what I've been doing for the past however many months it's been. Currently my estimate is that about 1/4 or 1/3 of the Plot is covered with dirt/mycelium, and that's largely due to the help I've received from loads of awesome people.

Off the top of my head, I owe all of these people a ton for their help with Cherry thus far:

Pictures will be coming soon, as soon as I have something to take pictures of anyways. Unless, of course, somebody is interested in looking at dirt and mycelium for a while.

Ok, quick update after looking at the fancy-smancy new Live Map...

I'm now sure that very close to 1/4 of the claim is covered with dirt/mycelium now. It's not to 1/3 completion yet, but I think that I'm getting close thanks to the fact that the northernmost corner of the claim has a rather large island on it, so I won't have to place dirt there. Right now, I have one area (the west corner of the plot) that will stay as swampy grass and won't be converted to mycelium. I took out all the oak trees that were there and replaced them with acacias, and I'm liking how the whole swamp area looks. I might do the same thing with the existing island in the north corner, but I'm not sure yet. Thanks to spongepunk for being a HUGE help over the last week or so, you've been amazingly wonderful. I haven't been able to get on much in the last few days due to having a large amount of school projects to do, but I'm almost done with it all, so I'll hopefully be back on soon.

Welp, since I last posted here, I've laid down some more dirt. And that's about it. I'm working on adding a glass walkway above the entire thing to allow easy viewing of the entire claim. If you wanna check it out, just ask when I'm online! I'll be happy to let you TP.

I'm not dead, I promise. Unfortunately school's started, and with Cross Country, homework, and everything in between it's hard to find time to actually get on I'm still around, I promise, and I'll pop in as much as I can.

As the dirt-laying process continues to get closer and closer to finishing, I'm beginning to map out the lake (seen in the picture above if I uploaded it right) in the bottom left corner of Cherry (the "top" side is the side nearest the Build world road where my little shack is). Going off of this picture I think I'll have to move all of the beautiful Acacia trees that are in the top right corner to make way for the large city area that's in the middle of the picture. I lack photoshop or any skill to draw on the picture to make it easier to understand, but the city in the middle of the photo is going to be the top right corner of Cherry.
