People have been asking for a list of rules. They aren't server-official of course. But they're something.

-Don't grief
-Don't steal
-Treat others NICELY

Simple. Why can't everyone work together? Is it really that fun to grief and just have people mad at you?

Grow up and work together.

Thank you Maple, now get a couple of trust worthy people, to be a law around the PVE town.

Rik. Creatve. Striker. DCL. Sery. Mava. Striker. Coolio.

Anyone can report to them.
I trust these people the most, and find that they have the most influence to noobs and members in general.

Do you trust me marple? You probably do but i don't trust your word if you say no.

Yes I do boomy. But like I said, the members I voiced above have a strong voice too.

^Agreed^ Its Not that hard people

The staff would like to point out that these are not server rules, only your community rules. Under no circumstances are server rules to be broken in attacking or defending this project. Using tnt or lava in the close proximety of other players, while griefing will count as attempted pve killing. Its too risky so don't do it.
If your life is so meaningless that you feel that you have to grief, please use other methods. /kit tools gets you a free pick axe you know.

There are a number of reports being investigated, and all those who cant follow the server rules will be dealt with.

The pve community looks greifed already... but only specific houses are getting greifed, it looks like some people cant get along with their neighbors XD.

Some cutey griefed mine. I started laughing.

And yes Limo, I know that. I said they aren't server rules.

But honestly, why are TNT/Flint&steel/Lava even allowed? There's no use really.

oh god mushtown has returned everyone!

please note i will not be takeing any pve griefing reports serously and they may be ignored outright.

remember pve is the only greifable world other than war.

I've already been TNT killed once, and have had someone try to lava me twice, since joining here. I really hope my recording system works.

again I believe this is what build world was for. not to get griefed?

I'm still missing one major question that has not been answered. why pve?

You don't know how many times I've told people to shut up about the griefing. I keep saying that we can repair. But these noobs need to be poked back with a stick! They're so stubborn and keep screaming out, thus encouraging the griefers.

Jex was blamed for PvE killing/griefing while he was mining in Historic. It was hilarious.

Honestly, now it's just a bunch of chaos and noobs that have no idea what's going on.

King wanted the full survival feeling. I wanted it for noobs to be able and get along with veterans.

On paper, it's a win-win plan.

......So is communism.

lol communism... funny...

i understand mobs + no protection = fun but you also have to deal with idiots.

towns just dont work in a greifer friendly world. mainly because people see it as a target.

thats why we created build to prevent greifing and anger and noobyness.

i have to say i like the build world to be used for that.

of corse the idea of agro mobs is there but at the same time... its not really too grand...

so you want an ungreifable world where you can work together to fight mobs and build... again i need to recomend factions unless build somehow is enabled for agro mobs... even then not everyone will be happy about that.

i get te novelty and fun of it. but in a world ment for resources and noobs to essentially destroy it kinda makes people angry when attacked/greifed and they get a build claim. because promoting alot in pve then getting a noobs hopes destroyed by another noob makes him want more protection...

----------------------------------------

if you tldr heres the summary and recommendation.

go walk through the historic world before we had exact and special protections per claim. go see the destruction and eye sores of the world once past. sure some of it has been cleaned up but alot of it is still greifed and unreported. alot of it is uncompleted. but that world remember was organized chaos. the pve organized chaos im sure wont last long and most users will leave it to their claims.

now teams and resource bases im all for but lets not blow this thing ridiculously out of order.

Aye, you're right.

Maybe starting our own unofficial hamachi-based server can solve this problem. It'd be a lot easier to flow traffic. But yeah, this whole thing seemed to have turned into an experiment.

It was fun trying!

I was just asking if u trusted me not like I want a job for a community YOU help start maple :P

I personally think I can help newcomers just as well as the others. It's not like newbies to the server knows the difference between who is influential on the server and who isn't.

There's no point in using hamachi unless you want to run a cracked server.
Also, I'm not touching hamachi anymore ever since it started running in the background back on my macbook after I uninstalled hamachi.
It was literally just sitting in the background hogging memory and sometimes CPU. It was a bug in that version but it slowed my macbook down a lot and I don't trust them anymore.

Thanks for telling me that, I'll keep it in mind.

And boomy, I'm not talking about the same thing as you.

For all I care, the PvE community experiment is done.
