I've been disconnecting at random from 2-5 times in a 5 minute time period. Immediately after my last timeout, I tested my speed at speedtest.net. Here's the results:

So I'm confused as to why I'm still getting random disconnects. I'll even have a 100% status bar on the multiplayer menu. Any ideas why?

Your Internet speed doesn't really have anything to do with disconnects, it could be anything from your router crapping out to a loose Ethernet cable. Its really hard to give you a specific answer.

You could start by eliminating possibilities, like testing if you get timeouts on another device in your network.

Humor us and try running wired. Wireless can cause disconnects especially if you're signal is weak.

Ok. I think that the problem was that I had about 10 walls between me and the router, and one of those walls was a solid rock wall.

Idk why you were even wondering what could possibly be causing them disconnects if you knew about the 10 walls between the router and you.

I didn't until Jex told me about the major problems that could cause.

BUT, I found out why. When you're in high school, and a bunch of people stay after school for play practice, they tend to kill the bandwidth with their friggin iPads and iPhones and all that crap.

So annoying. I want to get a wireless LTE adaptor for my own network.
