I really want to rant on about how amazing space is but I would have so much to talk about it would take me several hours to satisfy myself. One thing that is really intriguing is "The Great Attractor". Its mass is so powerful that its pulling the galaxy we live in towards its center, along with many other galaxy's. What happens when we collide one day? Who knows if humans will even still be in existence? We could die off due to many reasons. Maybe we will find another place to live and build a giant space ship that will transport us to a sister planet or maybe we will encounter other intelligent life out there that we could live beside as brothers? Who the F**k knows?

Im going to stop myself there before I start talking about Black Holes, Worm Holes, Paralell Dimensions, and other beautiful space related things that make my day thinking about them.

I love space.

This is the third time somone has made this thread, and I still go through the whole thing each time and am blown away :D

Absolutely amazing, it was nice to go through the whole animation again from smallest to largest.

DCL, please feel free to drop that space thread (even if it's in spam forums or whatever). I friggin love space related stuff (more funding for NASA and the ESA please!) and it'd be great to have somewhere to discuss it, even if it's just a "Most Mind Blowing Space Thing You Saw Today" thread.

So the universe is expanding and contracting at the same time? As long as you don't go into any theoretical physics type stuff, I'm all for that thread!

Because it's awesome. Am I the only one havng waaay too much fun with this?
