server activity good?

so whenever their is a major update like this we seemed to get a bunch of new members randomly it seems. its like our server just hits public and everyone joins. its kinda good and kinda bad.

so what do you think of new members joining when the server is more public?

I am down to see more people, still we should keep the registration through forums as a must just to ensure control over new members.

Yeah I agree with Ra1der. When hey0 updates, if it seems like a lot of people are visiting I'll tell them registration is on the forums. When it's slow though I only strongly encourage forum use.

Lots from there ^. Keep bumping that post too! They overhauled the minecraft site and forums, and I know they'll be making servers easier to search for down the road. I can't wait for the "search by ping".

its a good and bad... I know this from experience... the bad come in and test out all there hax and some times just grief so its smarter to take care with who we let in. cause if we let in more then one bad apple its hard to know who did what. I def push the forum its the best way to make sure there not just in it for a quick fix. the good will make the effort and stick around. you still have some of the hidden griefers but those can be taken care of over time.

I am actually going to copy it to my flash drive for WHEN I get to school! xD This server is amazing.

I don't care who you are, but after looking at the dinosaur sculpture, or the donkey kong sculpture, you just go "Damn!"
