If anyone knows anything about this, could you try and answer this for me? This was taken my question on Yahoo answers, just looking to get some more answers.

I have a few questions about Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, and Action Essentials 2. Answer whichever questions you can, but don't give me guesses. Only answer if you know. Thanks:

Do I need After Effects to use action essentials 2, or can I use final cut pro x?
If I can use final cut as a substitute, does it have the same functionality as after effects?
If I can't use final cut for action essentials, will after effects work as a stand alone video editor?

To get the advantage of all the flares, blood splatter, etc. I would get After Effects

No. Not at all.

After Effects = Effects
Final Cut = Video Trimming and Editing.
