i was wondering if i could tie my rail station in with the main station
 
if its not located in a area that works maybe make it a "service station" having a loop that ties into the main tracks?
 
I highly recommand to include spawn into your network, so that way tourists can have a look around.
 
im close to spawn if i tie into the spawn and then into the rest that would work?
