Well, I think we're ready to start something big here. We've got a website, forums, and a server that's no small potatos.

I was thinking we could assign zones of the world and flatten them out. Put torches around the zones with a sign in the middle explaining the space. Like parks, stores, gardens, houses, monuments and farms. Then we could start building on the zones once we have a world figured out.

This website could use a whiteboard we can draw on. Let me see what I can do about that. If I could get 1 of the 3 map cartographer image exporter extraordinaire things working I'd be posting the pics of the map. I think it's win 2k8 x64 OS. I'll have to copy the server to some older machine and try it again, I won't give up.

Any other ideas?

I'm messing around with groups and modifying access. Did you loose everything?

All members are admins and I'll work out that how joining will work for the community. Basically, the cool people are members, nothing less. :)
 
Hello, I found your site and server from the Minecraft forums, low and behold you hosting your server at a Peer1 office. I work for a Peer1 office! Small world!

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I logged into your server and holy cow is it impressive!!! Fantastic work guys.

I have a lil'server I use for myself and a friend and I might just bug Mr Jangles here for some information. Since Windows server support seems lacking in the forums and guides.

Hillarious! Glad you found us. I've been using peer1 at work for over many years and I just took the plunge myself. Hey, can you get me a deal? :P
 
Its always good to reminisce :) don't suppose there's any chance of getting the old build request section back as like an archive? I dunno about anyone else but I'd love to look back at some of the old members first posts here (google cache is a little too tedious)
