So I borrowed a floorplan from a youtuber.

But now I can't get the original design, inside and out, outta my head. I think I did okay, with a bit of design help advice, on the outside (Thanks Wubbles, altho I didn't follow all of it so you are off the hook for anything that looks awful! lol ). and when I finished the walls/roof, I need to do the inside but can't get the original interior design outta my head.

So I see two choices:
1. do something else and try to come up with my own interior design or:

2. Try to follow the original design to the letter, and do it as a learning experience, cuz this kid's really good. but then I don't know if this idea would actually work/teach me stuff.

So, whatcha all think, huh? any other suggestions?

Thanks for your time and thought,

Liana

When I made the manor (if one could call it that..) on my plot I watched someone make one and then attempted to come back to remake my own version of it a few days later (2 or 3 days.. not too long). It gave it that person's design look but it wasn't the same shape or anything.

Dunno if that helps.. but I tried. :P

I think I know what you mean. you were inspired by a particular build, used it as a jumping off point. am I correct? I've done that too. this is different somehow. I try to 'jump off' but can't get airborne, if you will.
