Chests are locked with a magical spell?

A friend and I are making a storehouse, and whenever we try to get into each others chests it says they're locked with a magical spell. when we try to lock the chests it says that the chest has already been registered. whats up with this?

Chests are automatically made private to the person that placed them, to add the other user to your chests use '/lwc m name'
This will allow the other player to use the chests.

Make sure you've spelt his name right.
It should allow him to access the chest.

it dosnt, is this a new feature? i dont remember the chests automatically being private ever.

just do /cremove to make them public, then you can do /lwc -c password <password> if you want a password on it

/lwc -m username will allow the user into the box. do not leave any chests unlocked. people steal still. and since this is public im sure someone will find it and steal from it if it is public.

That is one way to approach it. We have had issues with the /cremove (/lwc -r) command causing errors, so it may not work for everyone. The best way to approach this issue is to allow access exclusively to other users:

/lwc -m @username

This is faster and less annoying than a password protected chest, and isn't at risk of being forgotten.

Agreed, if you could not modify users on the chest then you should try to unprotect them all then reprotect them with "/lwc c private username"

Username being the username of your friend, you do not need to add yourself.
