Unknown Server message.

Every time I try to log on to the server, it says it is an unknown server, I HAVE rollbacked, I have not changed the IP address, in any way, and it was working a while ago, i always go on the server everyday, what happened?

Are you using "server.minecraftaddicts.com" when you try to connect?

Yep, check that the server address you're using is that exactly. (could just be a space at the end but im not sure if that will affect anything)
Otherwise I'm not sure what could be causing your problem, you may want to try deleting your bin folder in .minecraft and rollback to 1.3 once more.

I have found this has also fixed the issues I have had logging in with the server. Have you modified your jar what so ever?

First off, I did not change the ip address . Because I was using the EXACT same Ip address as I used when I could get in. And 2 , I did rollback to 1.3 , and I do not know basic proggraming , I couldn't modify it. The only possible modification I did before was a texture pack, and I followed the instructions VERY carefully while doing so. Maybe it's only temporary, but since it thinks it's unknown, something must have changed.

Definitely try deleting your bin folder and start over.
Usually fixes most problems people have.

sometimes when i change texture packs i cant get on the server at all. try keeping texture packs under 32x32

do not worry it is fixed, there was a space, at the end. Who knew?
