Lost All Iron

I don't know if this is where this should go, but I thought I'd post in support. I used to live in Purpletown (or Purpleville), and I had a really huge wooden house with a lot of fancy stuff in it. I also had two double chests (both /cprivate-ed) full of a bunch of valuable stuff (diamonds, gold, etc.), including my 20 blocks of iron. These are what I'm most concerned about. I saved them up so I could make armor, weapons, etc. but then Purpletown got destroyed, supposedly by a fire, and all of my stuff including my house and stone-covered basement got removed. What should I do about this? Can a server owner look at a map backup from a couple of months ago and tell what stuff I had and give that stuff to me to put in my new house? I feel like I haven't been treated fairly because I never had a chance to save my stuff before it got destroyed.

flint? what about it? oh, right. i made it cheaper. is it possible to get this stuff back? i will even pay you 100 caps leprince for all of the flint that you can't sell now .

purpleville was a victim to a series of griefings. Most, if not all buildings were half destroyed. The desicion was made to clean up the area completly. Thats why purpleville no longer stands. I think it is now part of sky city or whatever is next to it.

I remember this area being greifed to hell and back. Every building had multiple greifs by multiple people. It was very bad...

unfortunately no. we were running through reclaims for region managers. purple ville came up it was so greifed we decided to take it out. you and all other jumping around users were not active at the time of tear down. im sorry but all your items are lost to time. you will not be getting them back.

reason the area was taken down. noobish houses and griefed buildings.. why bother save anything. what you claimed to have is irrelevant and no we wont go looking around in old logs to find what you once owned.

your house was hit by a nuclear explosion. it is gone nothing to salvage. no point in trying and crying over it. time to move on.

oh yes you will. i did in my land its not that hard and the outlands is completely packed with it. go hunting. or is that too much work for poor old you?

This kind of thing has happened to all of us. We've all lost some items in some way or another. It shouldn't take you too long to rack up the familiar piles of iron if you do it right!

to get that much iron back will take you at most 10 - 20 minutes.
Head to the outlands, far away from the border (make sure no one follows) and start digging.

It is more of a ruin of sky city. we plan to remove it completely or rebuilt something new. It will be an extension of skycity.
