Server Outdated?

Hi guys. Just joined what looks like the best server ive possibly seen on Minecraft.

But when i try to connect its telling me that the server is outdated.

No idea whats going on but would love to build in this server.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey dude, for the time being you need to rollback your client to 1.6_6 instructions of how to do this (and a download link to a 1.6 jar) can be found here

Ahhh. So it needs to be pre update minecraft?

I run my own server for me and my wife, will that be effected?

To play on your own server you will have to update back to 1.7.3, so you will have to switch your jars between 1.6.6 when you want to play on this server and 1.7.3 when you want to play on your own.

it really all depends on craftbukkit and the developer of the plugins we use so there is no time frame i could give

That sucks a bit. I play Minecraft every day with my wife on our server so switching between the 2 is going to be a massive hassle.

It literally takes like 5 seconds to switch between two different versions.

i do it multiple times a day i dont think its too bad and i do remember there being a custom launcher that lets you choose a jar before you start the game but for the life of me i cant find it other wise id link you to it
