Every single time I attempt to connect to a wireless network I succeed but I don't have internet, and I know it's not the router because recently I was messing around with static IPs, I did manage to set up a static IP for only for LAN, but before I succeeded in LAN I tweaked around wireless and that caused me to lose mah wireless powah. Basicly I know some of my fellow addicts are talented in computers (way more than I am at least) so I am wondering if one of you could help me fix this problem. And I hope you don't say the only way is to restore cause I have so many files...



Oh and in case your wondering why I was messing around with static IPs, I was attempting to set up a little server for my friends, they wanted a private server for them to play on.
 
Few Questions:

Have you tested your internet connection with other devices?
Does it connect to the internet (Can access Google, Addicts Site, etc.) via LAN?


I had an issue similar to this, but most likely the way I resolved it will not be helpful to the situation.
 
It's my wireless, wired works, and tigger, do you think that would help? I am having trouble connecting but I'm wonderign is it my router or my computer? Wired connection as I have said works with no prob, only wireless.
 
well if you were messing around in your routers settings it would probably help
 
Well my main problem is no matter what wireless network I connect to, I have no internet.

YourMacManDan-Other devices have internet and I can access web via LAN but not wireless.
