Been on MCAs for a short while now, but hadn't bothered to do much forum posting. Well, a little about myself then! 
My name is Joseph Payne, 25 years of age and a resident of the great mountains of Tennessee (Johnson City). and I was introduced to this awesome game very recently by my RL friend Bicx. We've had a history of playing online games together since childhood. Having graduated from EVE Online, World of LoLcraft and Vanguard over the years, we've moved on to Minecraft.
My work background consists mainly of restaurant management (last 7 years or so), but I'm working on getting back into my high school passion, which is graphics, drawing and 3D modeling. I recently got out of the restaurant business and am in the process of moving back to Chattanooga, my hometown. I'm pursuing a few job leads down there. Volkswagon is opening a new car plant and I hope to get some work there while maybe - finally - getting back into college.
Hmm, hobbies. Love to fish, hike, play anything athletic (mainly frisbee, baseball, tennis, football), camp, shooting, watch a good movie, read, travel... and of course, play Minecraft. You know, I laughed when I first saw the screenshots for this game. Didn't think it was anything impressive. But hats off to Notch for making a cool game that seriously feeds the builder, architect and engineer inside of me. Minecraft is an artist's dream!
And of course, thanks to Jangles for the awesome server. Good community, great environment.
