World Map not being updated atm??

Hi, I have been to check the map the last couple of days, is the world map not currently being updated??

I'm pretty sure it is done automatically.

It's a script that is run periodically.

Hasn't updated since at least Oct 3.

The update usually runs daily but it seems something has gone wrong so it may have to be run manually when jangles/static get some free time.

ah well that explains that then, well lets hope it gets sorted soon, or it could end causing problems with the land claim process for others.

That won't be a problem soon. Yennage is adding land claims to the map like regions now so you'll have red borders on them within each region. He should be finished pretty soon.

Hmmm. Perhaps this is why the map hasn't updated...

Has nothing to do with what Yennage is doing as he hasn't touched any files at this point. He is doing it all with his local files to start with.
The map update cycle is just generating images of different zoom levels. If the map becomes corrupted then all you'll see if the regional markers etc. until the next map update is scheduled.

The world map has updated more recently, but there's still an issue with the signs, it's showing signs looooong since removed, and not showing once that have been there quite a while now.

As of now the map has to be updated manually, the signs are a separate issue.

Personally, I've noticed like a monthly delay in signs updated... and maybe a couple days delay on map updates... but it IS updating -- just maybe not completely.
