Java 64 help please

Hi,

Please, we need to work out how to select/get 64 bit Java.

In your reply, please reply with basic instructions, we are not very computer literate with some things.

We are using XP.

Who is we?

You go to Java.com with something other than IE.
You click on download JAVA, then select the 64-bits option for XP.

Is your computer 64-bits? If it isn't you won't be able to select the 64-bit package.

Are you using a mac? Macs usually can get Java via Software Update.

I think the "we" is his son and him. And XP does have a 64 bit version if you downgraded from Vista.
