I've updated the minecraft server with the latest server client and updated mods. We're in business! As expected, there are many bugs and Notch and Hey0 will be busy fixing everything. If you've got a problem maybe google it first to see if it's common or post in the forums.

Health won't be a major factor on the world. This will likely be a creative server with dedicated PVP areas, if it's possible to customize it like that. Monsters and PVP are set to false, animals will still spawn.

I also believe people should have a choice to be invincible and I'll be looking out for mods that can do that.

All you need is to turn health on and give each person a lighter...

The choice to go invincible should be a command (similar to warp etc) if at all possible. That would help with construction mishaps and allow people to PvP and explore for fun.
 
The server is now running 0.2.5_01. This fixes the players going invisible and loosing stuff. It also says it fixes respawning issues. We'll see.

The largest difference is health is now disabled. Monsters will spawn and they can be killed. You cannot be killed. Animals will spawn as usual.
 
Is there any way to stop creeper spawning? They make a real mess...
 
server updated to 0.2.5_02. This should fix inivisibility, but there are still known bugs reported.
 
November 30th. Server updated to 0.2.6 and all mods seem to working fine. Hey0 updated too.

Health is now enabled by default. If you do not wish to partake in health, just use /god and do your own thing.
