I noticed that the banner on top of the site has been there for a month already...

I think its time to change it to something better or make it different like one of those Google Doodles thingys, eventually it can become a ritual or something like that.

Opinions? Comments?
 
Ya we can do something like that. The text is going to stay the same.
 
yup already onto it.

MrJangles and I have talk and we going to be doing some bigger changes to the style of the forums please post any ideas and I can look at integrating it into the style.
 
Indeed! It's time to minecraft this site up. We'll keep the white BG and bright style too because I can't stand dark websites :).
 
group shots get outdated often due to the random activeness of members... my idea would be to have a sculpture of a Christmas themed object and take a screen shot of it and make a winter themed banner for now till we get to a different season/holiday
 
yup group shots with names arent a great idea... for exacly the same reason shared pointed out.

we can still do one and have a area for that not a bad idea if you guys are up to it

a seasonal thing is not a bad idea. depends on what people have in mind. I think the logo should stay the same "in style"
 
I like the group shot just to get the picture of players in the banner, inactive or not. Seasonal's a cool idea but yes it would need to stay with the style and colours.
 
How about there be a picture in a snowy part of the map? That would be Christmasy
 
i still got my hand up for group shot, or at least a combination of pictures with people in it with their best structure on the server.
 
I'm a master at Photoshop and the like, if I do say so myself.
Need a banner, don't hesitate to hit me up via PM.

I'm not really much of an idea person, I just do what people tell me. Except in Minecraft. :)

unfortunately its using a trademarked copyrighted design made for super meat boy the character is "super minecraft boy" if you don't know the game I would suggest you check it out its pretty amazing.

So because of that it could not be used. as for the font seems like we are def going with the yellow gold blocks as the style. I like the creeper on the right. over all your style and position is great but we just cant use it. maybe use it as your sig? that would be a great idea.
