I don't believe so. If minecraft.net works and the server doesn't connect it's likely the server, but no issues so far. Thanks for letting me know.

There's some weird thing about the server, it stops itself randomly at night.. it should be up now though
 
Ya that's what it sounds like. It's still down... I need a notch twitter feed puller majig for the site. I'll get that going.
 
The problem could be that we're 650K that decided to change our skin at the same time for a WEEK IN A ROW !!! xD.

No but seriously it could come from the lack of bandwith, or a real DDoS... which would REALLY suck.
