For old times sake we have archived the forums to keep bot spam down and keep the original history of the server archived for future players to browse. We have moved to discord now for a closer community feel. If the server gains a ton more players again like the past the forums will reopen with the original sections archived and locked.

Should we migrate to 1.7 with pistons disabled?

for people voting no...why not post a reason why you dont think we should go to 1.7
 
Migrate to 1.7 but why not keep the pistons? I know about the dupe glitch, but most users have good intentions. I don't know how to duplicate with pistons.
 
I've seen the dupe glitch...
its only with blocks that has gravity (sand, gravel)
There is no real harm with a lot of sand/gravel and you can always reduce the price of sand/gravel stacks to prevent exploitation.

We goto 1.7 and we ONLY disable the sticky piston as the regular piston has no problem

Theres still a problem where it can cause griefing. Theres no plugins that can track piston movement. Bigbrother cant do it either.
