Im hoping for september 9th. Thats my birthday so ill consider it a personal birthday present from notch. :P
 
Technically, minecraft addicts have two things to wait for.

1.when 1.8 is released as an update.

2. A much,much,MUCH longer wait for it to be on the server.

The horrible truth.

I know what your trying to say but just use 2 different .jars, one at 1.7.3 and one at 1.8 so you can check it out in singleplayer
 
That's what I do, but ur still excited to see the new features of 1.8 on the server. So that's a say to be excited
