Throughout this past week... I thought of nothing more than Les Mis to relate to this. A small revolution to face a giant army. Well, the small revolution hasn't done what it was wanting to do... And so, I'm stepping down from the fighting front of what I want to do.

A staff member made a great analogy for me on how to handle the situation. Say you work somewhere and you want to change the policies. Your managers love you and everything, but still, you just want some changes. You could 1) calmly explain to the managers what you wanted to change, and if possible, talk to the CEO about it, even if you've never met him, or 2) throw a can of paint on the CEO right as he walks in, then be escorted out be security. You don't want to be the 2nd guy... it'll get you nowhere. Despite what the managers say to the CEO about you being all great and stuff, the CEO will still think you're just a paint throwing hulligen.

I'm not going to be a 2. I'll try my chances as a 1.

Cya around guys.

Yeah that is really great and all
But staff has actually tried #1 for a long time
In fact, if you reed my thread, I actually did try to do the same on my own as well...

Sometimes people take feedback as criticism and feel attacked instead of helped.

yep
guess what then
if #1 AND #2 don't work
and they see feedback as criticism
How do you think the server will improve?

Maybe you just worded what you wanted to point out in a horrible way.
Feedback does not always have to be positive but there is a fundamental difference between giving someone constructive feedback and just venting, being judgemental and ridiculing aka criticism. Discerning between criticism and feedback can be a very fine line it’s also a personal thing.

We listen to feedback, but when its purely negative with no suggestion on how to possibly improve whatever it is then I'm sure anyone would ignore it.
