1 Year Anniversary Video

Thats right, Minecraft Addicts is reaching its 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!

And to celebrate, I will be making a video showcasing the Best creations the server made in the past year.

As of today i've been creating a list of creations I think are worthy to be featured in the video but i need YOUR HELP!

I've gotten support from many people including CommanderFluffy and staticfactory to work on this project.


The Song we are using for the video is called Shuriken by Madeon.

The song is 3 minutes, 20 seconds and i believe it is the best song to represent our 1st year as a server.


I want this to be the best server video because only the best servers have the best videos!

Our server has creations that are built FROM SCRATCH with no uncontrollable item spawning and world editing tools.


I have begun creating a list of Potential creations to be in the video. I will be selecting a panel of judges to help me
decide the best creations.

PHASE 1 COMPLETE
The next step is to have me and a panel of judges decide on which creations will actually be fully featured or will have a simply 1 second glimpse, check the thread regularly for updates concerning the decisions.

PHASE 2 COMPLETE
All the creations have been evaluated by me and at least 1 other person and i have begun writing the script for the video. After a certain scene is written, i will film it and add it to my project file.

Boats are on every single server. I totally agree with the android and Limoman's hill!! Not familiar with the other 2.

Hey,
I was wondering weather one of my current builds might make it into the video, however it isnt completed yet and will probably take a few days/a week to fully complete it.

This is the build so far


As you can see I just have to build the exterior wall which will go up to around about half the hight of the main tower. I know this is a bit short notice and incomplete so I dont really mind if you cant fit it into the video but if you can that will be great.

When complete Ill post a picture of it.

I checked the olympic stadium, it looks a bit...dull without a different texture pack so we'll see how it goes.

I just want to second this. Anything by Indigo should be stuck in there, he's got some awesome stuff.

I also remember that Bige22 has some cool builds on his land (church, etc.). And his train stations are incredible.

You're welcome to help with shooting IF you can set your monitor resolution to 1366 x 768 so that i dont have to bother with cropping the video.

As for the redstone machine, im still thinking on how we can display why its such an amazing feat in under 5 seconds.

Hmm, why 1366 by 768 lol? never even heard of that res... mine is 1680 by 1050 (not that common either) but i'll see if i can "resize" it myself. As for the redstone display, I have a button that shows the different letters of Minecraft, kind of scrolling upwards... (takes more then 5 secs but you can speed it up, I also have an image of it in this thread, so u could edit it in if 5 secs is too long for attention span... oh and if you want me to edit anything (plz give me ideas) i'd be delighted to!
