I made one of these before. I recommend making the wall out of obsidian so that it is more "secure."

There are a few semi-private redstone galleries on the server, I'd like to see one near a public warp that is marked up like TaviRider's World of Redstone using the coloured wool and protected by an appropriate cuboid so a misplaced bucket of water doesn't wipe out the whole thing. Tiggerxplur has a very nice double door system with a delayed close that should be featured.
