I have gotten Jangle's approval to offer the following very special, very limited deal.

We are making available three NPC characters. If you own the land, you may place them there. Other placement in communal areas subject to approval.

Proceeds from this auction benefit the Logo Project. Proceeds will be converted into gold blocks, rounded up to the next block, according to market price. Gold deposits will also be credited to the winning user for ranking in the logo.

Auction Rules:
1. Starting price is 1,000 caps for the complete package of 3 NPC's.
2. New bids will be made by forum post on this thread. Post your new bid as a reply.
3. New bids must be at least 100 caps greater than the previous bid. Bids below this amount will be deemed invalid and deleted.
4. Forum timestamp will be used to resolve all disputes.
5. The auction ends after 24 hours without a new bid.
6. The cap amount will be debited from the winner's account. In the event the user does not have the necessary caps, the runner-up to the winner will be used. Administration reserves the right to take action against users who abusively overbid.

NPC Rules:
1. NPC's will be "Simple" type. They will not offer sales functions, like the Subway Attendant characters.
2. NPC's may be customized with a skin by giving them a valid username to take the skin of. Otherwise, the NPC will be "vanilla".
3. NPC's may be customized with messages, played when left clicked on the head. Three messages may be defined per NPC.
4. Resale of package or components of the package is prohibited.

The bidding starts at 1,000 caps. Do I hear 1,100?

Folks, we're talking THREE NPC's here all for the highest bidder and there are no plans to publically release NPC's. DO I HEAR 2500?!?!?
 
Man, I wish I had more money! I might even be willing to partner up with 2 others and split the bid/NPCs 3 ways! What say you?!
 
A split bid is permissible. Just let us know when you bid who the team is.

This would be a great way for cities to pitch in and bid.
 
Within a reasonable time period. If you have need for them more than a month in the future, let us know what you plan to do with them. We just don't want people sitting on them forever.
 
edge of blade me and gijs like to have them for our village you now mushtown if we buy them do we get them forever??
 
since I don't have a town, nor part of one, I think its best if I don't go on bidding:p
 
Ok, Gi and Joo win the NPCs. We will need to hold on those and see what happens with mods and updates
 
JooZt, that's the idea. With the new release and new mod it's hard to predict exactly what we'll be facing.
 
It may be a lot, but expect NPCs to be very rare, expensive, and hard to get. :cool:

I think we should give them out now? I have no clue how long it will be until we're running beta 1.2. NPCs are a big item in the plugin community so I expect them to just get better as Minecraft improves.

But to be honest i only did it for the npcs. >:D
 
lol me to gijs and static factory can we control them or do you do that for us??
