Why do I keep getting this error when I try to get on the server?
 
Its because of the new launcher, Nocth leaked a new launcher that has different logins and more. Since they have been working on this and it has been connected already to the servers, this is one reason.

That is incorrect. The bad login error is fixed by restarting minecraft
