Beta 1.5 This Monday!

Hey guys so as you might know, beta 1.5 will be released this Monday.
It won't be a huge update but it is one that many players are looking forward to.
Here are the confirmed features so far:
Snow and rain will return with additional lightning and thunder.
Saplings will now be geared towards specific trees. (birch sapling to birch tree)
And Achievements and statistics will also be added.
It is also confirmed that the piston mod WILL NOT make it into the update.

Anyway guys I'm pretty exited about the new update. The weather sounds really cool!

-Saplings for specific trees :)
and maybe harvestable cocoa beans?
 
Finally some specific saplings.
Time for pine and birch to be lowered quite considerably in price!
 
BUT GOD, the server isnt even 1.4 yet o.o

But yeah i'm mostly looking forward to weather and achievements and stats seem fun. d/c about the saplings lol.

And the pistons are NOT added in 1.5, and they surely aren't useless. Google piston thingy bridge launcher stuff. Ok, not that but you get my point.
 
I wonder when notch is going to add the pistons? The saplings being able to grow certain trees is going to be nice. You will not need to go in search of pine or birch.
 
we will probably end up skipping 1.4 and moving right to 1.5.. no eta for that as of yet as far as i know
 
As always, it depends on Craftbukkit and the plugins that we have deployed. All it takes is 1 developer to lag behind the rest to keep us in limbo since most of the plugins we use are critical to the MA experience.

I seriously hope the mods are cracking up to speed. Being in limbo is not nice.

I'm also concerned with the growing issues with the bugs that still reside with 1.4. I heard there was no improvements with the last update.
 
1.5 is out.
